Well, since I don't see any guide of water melee on any forum I'll do it.

What is Water Melee?

Water Melee is a Water Tao that uses a 2h/1h weapon to physical attack instead of a bs to magic attack.

Advantages on be a Water Melee:

As water melee you will have a great magic defense, a good attack and all water skills, that will help a lot (Stigma, Adv Cure, DH, Pray, etc...)

Best Combo to Water Melee:

In my opinion, since I play on a classic server, the best combo to a water melee are War-War-Water, cuz of reflect and SM. But if u play on a 2.0 and want fog, u will chose Ninja-War-Water. But any xxx-War-Water would be ok, you just don't want lose SM and Reflect.

Which Weapon to choose?

There are 3 2h weapons that most of melees use that are:

Wand: is maybe the best to level, but sucks on pvp so you will need another one to pvp

Poleax: It's my favorite one, cuz level almost good as wand and it's good to plvl.

Spear: Awesome to plvl, but sucks to level. Good combo if you have a wand to level and a spear to pk

People also use Blade and Sword to pk cuz of fast blade and scent sword.

Now with the Alternative Equipment working, I would say for you to get a 2h on main equip and a sword or blade on alternative equip.

Equipments to use:

Tao Cap/Earring - Both Work good, but I prefer cap cuz also get some physical defense

Necklace

Ring - If you use a fast weapon (Wand, Spear) use an attack ring; if u use a slow one like Poleax use a Dex ring.

Tao Robe and Boots

Attribute Points:

I guess that this is the main doubt of people, how to put att points. So, u need for SURE:

Str: 176 (So you can use all weapons)

Agi: 2 (You can put a bit more, but u wont need more then 10)

Spirit: Some people put enough to get 1020 mana (so 1 fixed meditation will be enough to full mana) or enough to get 1200 mana (so u can use fixes stigma 3 times per full mana), the number of atribute points you will need to on Spirit put will vary if u have a Gourd/Bottle on.

Vit: Most of people put ALL left points on vit. You can spend some of left points on str/agi too, but make sure to put a good amount on vit.

Put in mind that you will need the basic att tao points to promote at level 40, 70 and 110, so if you are going to level alone to level 110 you will need realot your points before/after every promotion, here are the basic points to promote - http://co.91.com/guide/reborn/rebornpro.shtml.

Leveling Guide:

As water melle you have 3 ways to level (Plvl, Melee monsters or magical monsters)

Well, u can get a archer to plvl u to 110, it's the easier way cuz u will just need to realot your att points after 110 promo, so u will save some DBs.

If you don't get plvl:

1 - 70: Level using your guard on bird, or go to aple second map and level using your SM. But most of u will get plvled at least to 70 I guess.

70 - 110: If you want go kill melee monsters, you can level till 90 - 97 in bi (Birdmans then Hawks) and after this lab 1 till 110

If you want kill magic go to alien apes, then serpents and maybe AS.

110 - 120 - Go Lab 2 or AS and Basi.

120 - 137 - Pk arena, demon extermination, grotto 1 and 2, magic castle 2 map and all this boring stuff

Tips to make money as a water melee:

Blue Mouse: buy/find gems, trade for mets with quest to get profit.

MoonBox: Go do mb quest, you can get real good money doing it

MZ: with you great magic defence u can go to mz easy.

Buy cheap/ Sell High: Another awesome way to make money, buy stuff cheap from people who dont have time to spend selling and sell higher to get profit, u will need patience and know your market server prices to do it.
